Our Story

It all started when…

On January 8th, 2023, amidst an unusually fierce rainstorm, Daniela's vehicle skidded out of control and crashed into a median lacking protective barriers. The collision resulted in the catastrophic collapse of the car's right side, causing severe injuries. Daniela's condition was critical, necessitating an urgent airlift to Memorial Hermann Hospital. There, against all odds, the skillful intervention of medical professionals and a wave of heartfelt prayers worked wonders, stabilizing Daniela and setting her on a path to recovery over the ensuing weeks.

This harrowing experience served as a profound awakening for us, revealing a community bound by the shared adversity of traumatic brain injuries—a world previously unknown to us. As we navigated the challenging road of brain injury recovery, our connection deepened with this brave community, each member embarked on their unique journey of healing. Our encounter with such resilience and the unspoken bond we formed has profoundly moved us, marking the start of a dedicated mission to support and empower those facing similar battles.
